Pitching workshop

For the first time, we are organising a pitching workshop – a chance for our members to pitch to commissioning editors in real time.

Join us for what promises to be a fascinating session. It’s your chance to see how journalists and editors think and to understand how they decide whether to publish a story or not. The panel will critique your pitch and give instant feedback to help you shape your stories.

You do not have to pitch a story in order to attend.

On the panel, we will have three highly experienced editors whose organisations have a global reach.

Let us know if you want to pitch by filling in this form. We want to ensure we have a range of stories and topics covered. Depending on how many people apply, we cannot guarantee everyone who applies will be able to pitch. Please submit your pitch application by March 31.
