We are a member based organisation providing a range of benefits to our members including regular briefings with journalists and editors; training in social media, photography, shooting with a smartphone; access to our latest research tracking changes in the media landscape; advocacy to ensure that international stories and issues remain central to the UK media agenda. IBT is managed by a Board of Trustees who are elected by our membership. We are always keen to recruit new members. The wider our membership the more effective our advocacy is.
